Thanks to the subscriptions and cheers from the last few months, it’s time to give back to the community even more!

Changes to formats and prizing via Battlefy:

VtrendGaming will continue to host weekly tournaments on Battlefy however please note the format and prizing will be adjusted to the following:

1) 1v1 tournament format will be changed from group brackets + final stage to single elimination. All participants will be playing in the same bracket. As a result of this, there will be no player cap.

2) Prizing will be determined depending on the number of players participating in the event. The more players that participate, the more tickets to be paid out.

Disclaimer: Players that are no-shows or are disqualified will not be factored in.

Sunday June 7th Teamfight Tactics Tournament (most likely Challengermode, TBA)

Is there an age requirement to play in cash tournaments?

Nope, you just need to have a PayPal account to receive the funds!

What is the Challengermode transaction fee?

More to provided on this. To my current understanding, your cash prizes will go to your Challengermode “wallet”. They have told me that $2 USD is the processing fee for when it is time to withdraw to PayPal.

Is there going to be any entry fees for cash tournaments?

Nope! Tournaments will be free-to-enter!

Will I still be able to earn and use VtrendGaming tickets?

Yes to both! The ticket system is NOT going away and you will still be able to claim prizes and gift cards with them. Cash tournaments will provide a small sum of tickets in addition to cash prizing. And of course, so will giveaways.

Does this mean we are allowed to exchange VtrendGaming tickets for cash now?

No. VtrendGaming tickets do NOT have any cash value therefore cannot be traded or sold for such.

Expectations for the remainder of June 2021 (again, tentative and subject to change):

Week 2 June 7th to 13th – Thursday will feature a cash prized 1v1 VALORANT tournament. Sunday will feature a cash prized Teamfight Tactics (TFT) tournament.

Week 3 June 14th to June 20th – No tournaments this week. Birthday week for me, so I would like to take time off.

Week 4 June 21st to 27th – Cash prized Challengermode tournaments for Tuesday (1v1 League), Thursday (1v1 VALORANT), Friday (2v2 League), Depending on interest the weekend may feature Saturday (5v5 ABAM) and Sunday (TFT).
